The Skydyne Company respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect on this website, how we use it, which third-party services may process data when you use the site, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
You provide directly
- Contact form — name, email address, optional phone number, message content, and your consent to this policy. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and related follow-up.
- News or updates signup (email field on our News page) — email address you submit and your confirmation that you agree to this Privacy Policy for those updates, plus the time of signup and that the request came from the news section. We use this to send or administer updates. Subscribing is optional; see this policy and our Contact page if you wish to be removed from that list.
- If you include business or other personal details inside a free-text message, we treat that as part of your inquiry.
Collected automatically
- Spam and abuse protection — when you submit the contact form, our servers may record a truncated technical identifier of your connection (such as IP address) to enforce reasonable submission limits. The contact form may also show a security challenge operated by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes data according to Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Completing that challenge indicates to human operators that the request is less likely to be automated spam.
- Usage and diagnostics — when enabled, analytics tools may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser type, and how you move through the site (see Cookies & analytics below).
How We Use Information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries, deliver requested communications (such as news updates you sign up for), operate and secure the website, measure and improve performance, and run our business. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies, analytics & third-party content
Our pages may load cookies, local storage, or similar technologies from us or from partners. You can restrict cookies in your browser; some features may not work as intended if you do.
- Google Analytics 4 and, if configured, Microsoft Clarity — loaded through our site analytics script for aggregated traffic and site improvement. Those providers have their own privacy notices.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — security challenge on the contact form, as described above.
- Google Maps — embedded map on the Contact page; Google may collect data when you interact with the map.
- Elfsight — optional social or feed widget on the News page; Elfsight may set cookies or process technical data. See Elfsight’s privacy policy.
- Fonts and scripts — for example, styles and scripts may be loaded from Google Fonts, jsDelivr, the Bootstrap CDN, Cloudflare, or other CDNs; those networks may log requests (such as IP address) in line with their own policies.
Links to third-party sites (including social networks in the footer) are governed by those sites’ policies, not this one.
Sharing & disclosure
We share information with service providers that help us host the website, send email, prevent abuse, analyze traffic, or display embedded content, only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if we believe in good faith it is required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.
Retention
We keep contact and subscription information only as long as needed to respond to you, fulfill the purpose you provided it for, meet legal or accounting obligations, or resolve disputes. Server logs and analytics data are kept according to our vendors’ settings and our internal practices.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is fully secure. Contact us promptly if you believe your information has been compromised.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise those rights or ask questions, contact us using the information below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
